EXPOSED! “Uncommon liars” left no development in Uruan – Ntukudeh … as Uruan promises Gov. Udom bloc votes The Chairman, Akwa Ibom State Roads and Other Infrastructural Maintenance Agency (AKROIMA), Prince. Godwin Ntukudeh, Ph.D on yesterday revealed that the much heralded “uncommon transformation” by the past administration left no legacy project or any meaningful development in Uruan LGA, even upon several promises which were made to the people at different fora; but was laced with uncommon lies by uncommon liars. But through the instrumentality of Governor Emmanuel, Uruan LGA has been transformed, with developments in abundance. Ntukudeh who stated this when Governor Udom Emmanuel’s Campaign team visited the area, said that the only way to reciprocate Governor Emmanuel’s gesture by the indigenes of Uruan LGA is to vote Gov. Udom to return to the Hilltop Mansion in the forthcoming general elections. “Before today, there was a Governor who came to Uruan and promised to construct roads in Uruan, he failed! Uncommon liar! You are the first Governor (referring to Gov. Udom Emmanuel) that has transformed Uruan”, Ntukudeh exposed. He extolled Gov. Emmanuel for the strides he (the Governor) has recorded in Uruan and pledged the continued committment of the entire people of the area to the success of Governor Udom Emmanuel’s gubernatorial bid, making it clear that the governor has done exceedingly well for the people of the area. In their various goodwill messages on behalf of the women, youths and elders of Uruan, Mrs. Josephine Okokon Bassey, Favour Okokon, and the political leader of Uruan, Obong Ekpe Atakpo thanked the Governor for the massive road constructions in the area, remodelling the Ituk Mbang General Hospital, etc., and therefore announced that Uruan shall not waver in their promise to vote Governor Udom Emmanuel and other PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections. The chapter chairman of the PDP in Uruan, Obong Obot Essien who noted that Uruan LGA had the 3rd largest votes in the 2015 general elections, assured that in the 2019 elections, they will come first and will give blog votes to Governor Udom Emmanuel. In his response, Governor Emmanuel appreciated the people of Uruan for always standing for the truth, and promised to do more for them in his second term. More than three hundred people in Uruan who dumped the APC, were received into the PDP at the campaign rally.
